Seaside 2.8.4 and Pharo

We just announced Seaside 2.8.4, the fourth maintenance release for Seaside 2.8.

Again this release is available as a one-click image that comes with the latest code for Seaside, Scriptaculous, RsRss, Comet, Magritte, Pier and various other development tools pre-loaded. The novelty of the one-click image is that it is based on the latest Pharo core image and that it requires a new closure VM to run.

In the meantime the work on Seaside 2.9 continues.

There is typo on seaside.st in news block. 2.9.4 instead of 2.8.4

Thank you for pointing out. I wasn’t lucky with numbers yesterday, they came out randomly.

Great! Definitely my next download to update my Seaside working environment. I will try out Magma on top of it as well.

Lukas,

Thanks for your work.

I have not been able to use Magma. When I try to create a database under Vista, the process never completes.
